I had so much fun ridinf the bike and all the little villagers! DOes anyone know how to get past the first Sunday?

Hello Rachel! If you got to the credits after the little scene with all the villagers it means you've reached the end of the game :D We've added the Sunday so that people could keep on playing and completing the game without having to redo everything ;)

really good game but is there a bug that make i'm stuck at the 1st sunday after the begining ?

Hi! Thank you for your kind words!

The Sunday is only there so that people can complete the game 100% if they want to, or juste keep roaming around. The game truly ends with the credits ;)

Okayy, just very nice, beautiful and relaxing game !

Hi - I truly adored this. Is there any way I could contact your team about a couple of potentially cool projects?

Excellent game!
I had a great time playing through this on stream.

Any chance you might expand it into a full release?
I would love to explore more of these characters. =]

Thank you so much for your feedback!

We'd love to see the stream replay if you have any link!

As for now, we do not have any concrete plans to continue any further, but this might change in a not so far future so stay tuned ;)

You're welcome.
Postbird was a lovely experience, for sure. =]

Of course!
Here is a link. I played it as part of an indie variety stream, so I have queued it up to the start of the game. =]

Enjoy. ^^

I will certainly stay tuned as I think you have a real gem on your hands. =]
Take care!

Aww the stream is so sweet, we truly love to see our players' reactions while playing the game! Thank you for sharing it with us!

PS: France is not in lockdown anymore, but was when we were working on the game.

PS2: Your "Montélimace" pronunciation is good ;)

A truly delightful world of color and quirk. Plus I'm a fan of big hats

(+1)

Hi! Thank you so much for playing the game and sharing a video with us!

We love the way you are avoiding pronouncing Montélimace haha!

this is the demo?

(+1)

You can consider this game a demo since it's only a small student project, yes.

(+2)

Don't have any words to describe the game. It's amazing!

Thank you so much for your kind words!

I like your game and I enjoyed riding the bike! I decided to make a video on this. I hope you continue to make good games in the future! Wish you the best of luck.

Thank you very much for taking the time to play the game and sharing your video with us! We're always more than happy to watch the videos and love seeing the joy on our players face :)

Very Calm and nice idea. Different Characters with a Homer Simpson lookalike. Beautiful World. The Demo is a bit short but still entertaining enough.

Thank you so much for playing the game and sharing a gameplay video with us! We're glad you enjoyed the game!

The end comes fast indeed, but you can continue roaming in the city after the credits to find Montélimace's secrets and unlock all the achievements ;)

J'ai fait une petite partie jusqu'au 1er  dimanche.  J'ai déjà hâte de reprendre. Votre jeu me rappelle 'a short hike".

Great game! Is this a demo? Is this the full version?

Thank you for your kind words :)

You can consider this game a demo since it only has the scope of a graduation project.

(+4)

I loved this game so much!

Thank you so much for playing the game and sharing your session with us!

We're glad that you liked the game, and seeing all your reactions was really refreshing!

You indeed finished the main story, but you can roam freely and look for all Montélimace's secrets if you press start again from the main menu ;)

The game is short since it was our graduation project, but we are very happy that you enjoyed it, and hope that you will find all the secrets ;)

Don't hesitate to come back to us if you have any questions!

PS: "enchanté" means "Nice to meet you"

Sadly I cannot follow the coversations as the text bubbles are outside my screen.
I can also not find a way to change the display settings in game, tried every way and am now playing without knowing whats going on.
I hope this gets added in game.

I loved the game graphics super cute and the gameplay was a joy. Just wished it had been a little longer hoping the dev will expand on the game as I would love to play a longer version.

Game definitely reminded me of animal crossing and harvest moon

My gameplay video

(+1)

Thanks for playing and leaving a comment! The game can be up to 30min long if you farm all of the achievements (the final cutscene will even change according to what you did ;))

Animal crossing was definitely one of our references!

(+1)

I finished it within 15 mins.. sadly
would love to see this as an 2 hour long game with a story!

(+3)

Hii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful the devs ;)

-The idea of the game is pretty interesting ^^

-The gameplay mechanics are easy to get into and the dialogues with the characters are really interesting, helping to create a friendly atmosphere.

-The game visually looks fantastic and has a lot of personality while getting combined pretty well with the gameplay mechanics to give the player a relaxing gameplay experience.

Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

Hello!

Thank you so much for all the kind feedback, and for taking the time to make a video, we really appreciate it!

(+1)

you are welcome ^^

(+4)

This was absolutely adorable! I had a wonderful time playing it! ♥

(+1)

Thank you so much!

(+4)

All the characters' designs are so amazing! I love the achievements that you are able to get.  I tried to get them all but i couldn't find the last sticker.

Thanks a lot! Some of the stamps are very well hidden ahah, well done finding 9 of them ;)

(+2)

Nicely done. I really like your audio design, it's on point! Just love that "meow" sound of the kitty selling orange juice, something we all need more of at these temperatures :D

At first I had a little trouble with the bike controls. I expected up to be "move forward" but instead it's a direct mapping of the direction. Which is fine for a character running, but it feels a little counter intuitive on the bike because the design suggests forward movement (bikes rarely move sideways).

Tiny bug: On QWERTZ layout keyboards Z and Y are swapped but the game does not recognize that. Also the UI shows a blank white square instead of Y. I guess both have the same root cause.

I read on reddit that it took you 8 months to build. How big was/is your team?

This is impressive work considering the short time period. A great graduation project. I am sure it will open some doors for you.

Thank you for sharing your game with the community. Mérci!

(+1)

Dankeschön fürs Feedback means a lot to us :)

We were aware of the bike movement being a bit unintuitive at first when designing it but we felt confident about not having to bother about camera controls being more important for accessibility (as our target audience is fairly young) and also for optimisation and staging. Our main ref here for bike control was Lonely Mountains: Downhill.

Concerning the keyboard support, the game was designed for the Nintendo Switch so we focused on Joy Cons (which btw work on PC too ;)) and Controller support therefore we only included QWERTY and AZERTY keyboard support :(

As for the team, we were a total of 14 people.

Thank you again for the lovely feedback :)

(+1)

Thanks for your quick reply. I guess it's time to hook up my Joy Cons :D

(+3)

I love how this postbird (as in postman-bird) is also a postbird (as a creature that evolved from a bird).

(+2)

wow never thought of it that way! :o
